Solo Backpacker to Singapore # 1

Well, thanks to Air As ** again, this time I can get a promo ticket to Singapore. Tickets I booked in October 2013 with the date of departure in May 2014. There is still plenty of time to save for a walk.

Previously I had not imagined being able to travel abroad. Moreover, I do not have a passport yet. So when there is a promo plane ticket Jogja-Singapore, I was really desperate to buy it. But my friends Backpacker Indonesia community in Yogyakarta always encouraged me to dare to travel abroad alone.

February 2014, I took care of a passport. Fortunately, the passport arrangement went well. After getting my passport, I started searching for everything about Singapore. From a lot of information I read, Singapore is commonly visited by Indonesians who first went abroad. In addition to plane tickets are quite affordable, we also do not need to take care of the visa. Singapore also includes a safe country and easy access for travelers.

I started looking for hostels to stay over in Singapore. From the various information I got, I decided to book a hostel at ABC Hostel. This hostel is in Bugis area, close to Mustafa Center & Arab street. I booked a roommate dorm for eight people because it was cheaper. For a fee during my stay in Singapore, do not forget I redeem the Rupiah to Singapore dollars. After calculating the estimated cost while in Singapore, I think enough with 200 $ S.

I am also looking for info in Backpacker Indonesia forum from my backpacker friends who have been to Singapore. While searching for this info, I found a new friend, Zain, an Indonesian who works in Singapore. He offers to anyone who travels to Singapore to contact him. He will gladly share info about Singapore. We exchange phone numbers.
